EmailConductor Adds List Suppression Feature; New Version on the Way

Hopedale, MA, June, 2005— EmailConductor, the email marketing platform developed by ClickRSVP and used by dozens of financial institutions, is being improved once again.

Currently, EmailConductor allows clients to send sequenced emails to recipients who have clicked on a specific link or opened and viewed a campaign. A new feature just added now also allows any list of email addresses to be used as a suppression list for a specific campaign.

“This is different than our opt-out list, which is permanent and automatically suppresses recipients who have previously opted out. In this case, a campaign can be sent to one or more subscriber interest lists, while suppressing recipients who appear in other lists,” explained Kevin DeGray, senior developer for ClickRSVP.

As an example, a client could send a second version of a message to the same subscriber list, but would be able to exclude recipients who had previously responded.

Email effectiveness is about relevance of content. By not repeating the same message to someone who already responded or is otherwise not qualified, the annoyance factor is reduced, and subscriber retention is improved.

ClickRSVP also announced that a major upgrade to EmailConductor is in the final stages and slated for release this summer. The new version will include more than 30 improvements or new features.
